My photography style focuses on providing a fun experience that captures personality.
Some people don’t like to get photographed. I get it. So why not try to make it fun? There’s no pressure. I will never ask anyone to say “Cheese!” You can relax. I will give some posing directions but I’m also interested in catching impromptu moments as they happen.
My goal is to capture the personality of a person. I’ve seen technically correct photos that missed the personality. I want my photos to be correct in every way but I also want the photo to capture personality. When a friend looks at your photo I want them to say, “Yes, that’s you!”
I shoot in my studio and outdoors using natural light.
When it comes to editing, I strive to present realistic but vibrant colors. But if the colors detract from the main image I will consider turning it into a black and white image. Check out the photos in the gallery to see my editing style.
